※Only the Tap to Ride cards of the brands listed above can be used for Tap to Ride payment.

Q2Is it necessary to charge the card in order to use tap to ride payment?

For prepaid cards, you need to load an amount greater than the usage amount in advance.

※Debit cards require sufficient balance in the linked account to cover the usage amount.

Q3What should people do if they don't have a credit card?

In addition to credit cards, some debit cards and prepaid cards from eligible payment brands can also be used.

Q4When is the payment date for the fare?

The fare for the day of use will be settled the following day, and the payment will be deducted on the payment date set by the card issuer.
The deduction date varies depending on the type of Tap to Ride card you have contracted.
For debit and prepaid cards, the deduction is generally the day after the date of use. For credit cards, it will be in the following or the month after, depending on the usage date.
Also, the fare for one day's usage will be combined and billed as a single statement.
