Each ticket machine and fare adjustment machine is equipped with a monitor and intercom. Guidance is also available through text and image as well as audio.

There are audio guides on the ticket gate and platform levels. Station and restroom maps, and fare adjustment offices are equipped with Braille panels and audio guides.
Station Numbering / Displays in 4 Languages

For ease of understanding, especially by foreign visitors, route and station names are displayed in Roman alphabet and numerals. All important information is displayed in 4 languages.
Gender-inclusive Restrooms

Stations are equipped with male, female, and gender-inclusive restrooms. "Gender-inclusive restrooms" can be used by seniors, passengers in wheelchairs, persons living with an ostomy, and the general public.

Rain dragon in water

Swimming through the heavens, the legendary rain dragon is an auspicious omen symbolizing good luck, thought to bring rain.
The 9th Lord of Echigo-Nagaoka, Makino Tadakiyo (1760-1831), was known as the "Rain Dragon Lord," because of his huge collection of paintings on rain dragons, such as ”One Hundred Rain Dragons.”
